Feasibility Studies

Before any project is undertaken the feasibility of that project should be evaluated. STANDING STONE provides a multi-dimensional analysis of the site location and the requirements and expectations of the people who will use the new facility. Our feasibility analysis will determine the circumstances in a community that can contribute to or detract from the safety, security and emergency response capability of a proposed project.

Assessments

A safety, security and emergency response assessment uses a combination of quantitative techniques to evaluate the vulnerability of the facility's assets to certain threats and how those threats and vulnerabilities put the mission of the facility at risk. In an assessment!

• assets to be protected are identified and prioritized
• the intent, motivation, and possible tactics of perpetrators of a threat are evaluated.
• vulnerabilities to the assessed threats are identified

Using the findings from the asset, threat, and vulnerability analyses, appropriate countermeasures can be selected, evaluated, and recommended.

Strategy and Planning

Developing a strategy begins with setting the overall goals of the security and emergency response plan. STANDING STONE helps our clients through the strategy development process. Emergency management is the process of preparing for, mitigating, responding to and recovering from an emergency. An emergency is anything that has a negative impact on an organization of facility.
