To Whom it May Concern:
Kimon Onuma of Onuma/Webscape has demonstrated to us on numerous occasions that he and his Webscape team are at the leading edge of the industry in the use of ArchiCAD, and in crafting customer solutions which may include related software and their own custom software.
As an Architect, Kimon is a visionary, who understands the exponential powers of the virtual building, and who can apply that understanding to revolutionize the practice and process of design.
Many of the parametric GDL design objects and custom APIs created by Onuma/Webscape are unique and finely tuned to meet the needs of their clients, based on his wealth of experience in the building industry and intimate grasp of the technology and its application.
In October of 2002, Kimon helped Graphisoft to present their technology to ESRI, the world's leading developers of GIS software. He demonstrated the use of intelligent objects inside ArchiCAD, which caught the attention of Jack Dangermond, founder and president of ESRI. His demonstration was critical in leading ESRI to explore joint development projects with Graphisoft, projects which are continuing today.
Kimon is a leader in the transformation of the industry and I would highly recommend him for projects involving the building industry and technology.
Sincerly,

Al Moulton
President

To Whom It May Concern:
The idea of linking building information models (BMIs) to a GIS system, such as ESRI's ArcGIS software, is a powerful concept. The potential of this type of linkage is appealing to many sectors of our society, including both defence and homeland security.
Kimon Onuma, of Onuma / Webscape and the Ship Group, has a unique background and understanding of building information modelling and how building information can be linked to a GIS system.
Sometime ago, ESRI asked Kimon to present to Jack Dangermond, President of ESRI, and some of ESRI's software engineers, a summary of the various projects and systems he and his associates have developed. The presentations were an early exposure for ESRI staff to the power of intelligent 3D objects (in CAD) and how those objects could be incorporated directly into GIS.
Kimon's presentation, which demonstrated a wide breath of knowledge and experience, helped introduce our company to GraphiSoft and the impressive capabilities of ArchiCAD ... one of the few and truly capable 3D object-based CAD programs on the market today.
I would highly recommend Kimon Onuma to others interested in this area.
Sincerely,
Bill Miller
